There is a finite number of audition spots - sign up early.

To audition:

Prepare a one-minute song cut of your choice.  Instrumental music ONLY - no lyrics and no acapella.

Prior to the day of auditions:

1 - Register at Register for STA's production of The Spongebob Musical
2 - Take (and print) your headshot photo to bring to your audition
3 - Prepare for your song - accompaniment (karaoke) tracks only, no acapella, starting at the 60-second cut that you plan to sing. Download the song to your device BEFORE you arrive for your audition.
4 - Bring these two forms, completed, to your audition:

  • Audition Form - link to come

    • Be sure to enter all of your conflicts in this form. Conflict schedules are critical to the success of the production so be hones

5 - Pay Participation Fee (due by the first rehearsal)

The day of auditions:

  • Bring a headshot.

  • Print and complete both of the following forms and bring to the audition (REQUIRED):

    • Audition Form - link to come

  • List ALL conflicts on the Audition Form - BE HONEST!!

  • Sing a one-minute song cut of your choice.  Bring INSTRUMENTAL music downloaded to an electronic device - NO ACAPELLA auditions.

Rehearsals will be generally be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays

Performances (at PCPA):  April 30-May 2, 2027
CONFLICTS ARE NOT ALLOWED between 4/12 and 4/29, for any reason.  
Do not register for this show if you are not available for these dates.
 
There is a $525 fee to participate, due at the first rehearsal.  This fee goes towards the costs of licensing rights, set building, props and costumes.  
This fee DOES NOT cover the costs of the theater. Ticket sales cover the cost of the theater.

The Participation Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
​
​
Parents are expected to volunteer in various capacities:  set building, backstage assistance, ticket and concession sales, etc.
