Ballet (grades 4-6)
Ballet is the basis for graceful movement, the fundamental technique on which other dance forms are based. Musical theatre utilizes a broad vocabulary of dance techniques, including ballet.
Fundamentals of Ballet 4-6 is geared toward 4th-6th grade students with less than two years of training.
Work includes stretches and center work designed to help in the development of posture, muscle strength and coordination. This class will use ballet vocabulary to develop the foundation for ballet technique.
No previous dance experience necessary.
Ballet shoes are required for class.
Times: 5:30-6:30pm (60 minutes)
Location: STA choreography room
Participant age range: 4th through 6th grade
